2015 started off with another amazing trip to Venezia. This time to work on concepts for new pieces and designs. Carnivale and Aqua Alta, snow, rain, winds, everything the universe could thrown down, came! It was wonderful! I was probably the only person running around with a big grin.

Carnivale was food for the imagination. A nightmare for residents and an amazing opportunity for photographers. Here are a few of the moments on a beautiful sunny day.

The time has passed so quickly this year. So much that needed to be done, so much didn't get done. Several trips to Italy to work on projects and life has gotten in the way of creativity. Now Summer has arrived and finding joy in producing beautiful pieces for my collectors has begun anew.

The website is still under construction and soon will be available for easy shopping no matter where you are in the world.

While not designing new looks, the garden has been my passion. Trying to keep everything alive with the drought has been a challenge, but the results are still beautiful.

Where do I find inspiration?
It's everywhere I turn.
I walk in my garden, watch an old film, see patterns in the clouds. Not everything can be translated into a piece of jewelry, but the visions become a starting point to what I want to create.
As I start the design process the piece takes shape. Colors swim in front of my eyes and I keep returning to move and place them in different patterns until the concept is in front of me.
Finally, the countdown has begun for the official launch of Campiello V. This is the culmination of years of creating beautiful jewelry combined with living the dream in Santa Barbara and Venice.

Campiello Valmarana is where I am at home when I'm in Venice. The luxury of being surrounded by the beauty of my favorite city and the love that I found there inspires me to create jewelry that any woman would want to add to her collection. Each piece I design is either unique, or one of a small, limited edition of 5. They are as beautiful as the women that wear them.

I invite you to step into my world at Campiello V. Kathleen
